My research focuses on fjord and lake sediment geochemistry and paleohydroclimatology, mostly in Patagonia. My current projects aim at reconstructing the late Quaternary variability of Patagonian glaciers, assessing the impact of climate change on the frequency and magnitude of Glacial Lake Outburst Floods, and improving fjord organic carbon budgets.
