Litholamination workshop
The Litholamellage workshop consists of:
- large saws and a micro-saw for cutting and producing rock blades
- polishers
- a glue press
List of achievements made by the workshop:
The instruments in the litholamination workshop enable the production of thin sections and polished sections of rocks (thickness: 30 μm), allowing the structure and texture of minerals to be observed through transparency (optical microscope).
