Cette contribution multidisciplinaire concerne une p\u00e9riode cl\u00e9 de l\u2019histoire humaine mal connue et a comme objectif de: (1) proposer des mod\u00e8les des r\u00e9ponses humaines \u00e0 de nouveaux (et vari\u00e9s) environnements bas\u00e9s sur la disparition et l\u2019acquisition d\u2019outillages et d\u2019expertises, (2) comprendre les m\u00e9canismes de transmission culturelle au cours du temps et les processus avec lesquels les innovations et les inventions se d\u00e9veloppent et sont maintenues. L\u2019objectif est de contribuer \u00e0 comprendre le plus ancien cycle de r\u00e9gionalisation europ\u00e9en, bien ant\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui contemporain de la fin des N\u00e9andertaliens (MIS 4-3). Cette approche n\u2019a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 appliqu\u00e9e pour le d\u00e9but du monde n\u00e9andertalien. La r\u00e9alisation d\u2019une chronostratigraphie unifi\u00e9e aidera \u00e0 replacer dans le temps les nouveaux comportements, les avanc\u00e9es technologiques et les modifications anatomiques des hominid\u00e9s dans leur cadre climatique et environnemental. La r\u00e9alisation de cartes synth\u00e9tiques \u00e0 haute r\u00e9solution permettra de corr\u00e9ler les donn\u00e9es climatiques, environnementales et arch\u00e9ologiques. Cette analyse d\u00e9taill\u00e9e des interactions entre Humains et Environnements pourrait devenir un mod\u00e8le pour comprendre des \u00e9volutions analogues, entre pass\u00e9 et pr\u00e9sent. Enfin, nous questionnons la question de la r\u00e9silience des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s face aux changements climatiques. L\u2019\u00e9troite association entre les m\u00e9canismes physiques, les donn\u00e9es climatiques et arch\u00e9ologiques repoussera les limites des m\u00e9thodes utilis\u00e9es \u00e0 ce jour.<\/p>\n<p>Ce projet interdisciplinaire implique sept \u00e9quipes fran\u00e7aises, chacune avec des comp\u00e9tences compl\u00e9mentaires : MNHN, LSCE, EPOC\/PACEA\/Universit\u00e9 de Bordeaux, IGE, LMD, LGP et Universit\u00e9 de Lille.
