Colin<\/p>\n<p><strong>Equipe embarqu\u00e9e\u00a0:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LPGNantes (Universit\u00e9 de Nantes)<br \/>\nGEOPS<br \/>\nLSCE<br \/>\nNational University of Ireland Galway<br \/>\nUniversit\u00e9 de Gand<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"align-self: center;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:20px;width:100%;\"><div class=\"fusion-separator-border sep-single sep-solid\" style=\"--awb-height:20px;--awb-amount:20px;border-color:var(--awb-color3);border-top-width:2px;\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><p>La Mission Mingulay-Rockall (juin 2016) \u00e0 bord de l\u2019Atalante avait pour objectif de pr\u00e9lever des \u00e9chantillons d\u2019eau et des carottes de s\u00e9diment dans des zones riches en d\u00e9p\u00f4ts de d\u00e9bris de coraux profonds afin d\u2019exploiter ces archives pour des reconstructions pal\u00e9oceanographiques.<\/p>\n<p>Deux sites de pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement ont \u00e9t\u00e9 plus particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9tudi\u00e9 durant cette mission\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>1\/ Le site Mingulay (en mer des H\u00e9brides) qui se caract\u00e9rise par la pr\u00e9sence de r\u00e9cifs coralliens d\u2019eaux froides (<em>L. pertusa<\/em>) qui prolif\u00e8rent actuellement entre 100 et 150 m de profondeur d\u2019eau.<\/p>\n<p>2\/ Le site de Logachev (SW du chenal de Rockall) qui se caract\u00e9rise lui aussi par d\u2019abondantes colonies coralliennes (<em>L. pertusa et M. oculata<\/em>) mais \u00e0 des profondeurs plus importantes autour de 750 m.<\/p>\n<p>Ce projet vise donc \u00e0 effectuer une \u00e9tude multidisciplinaire (s\u00e9dimentologie, biologie et g\u00e9ochimie des coraux) pour reconstruire l\u2019histoire de la croissance de ces r\u00e9cifs ainsi que les changements environnementaux (temp\u00e9rature, circulation des eaux de sub-surface et interm\u00e9diaires) au cours de l\u2019Holoc\u00e8ne \u00e0 partir de ces deux sites.\u00a0 Nous obtiendrons donc des reconstructions de l\u2019hydrologie des eaux de sub-surface et interm\u00e9diaires avec des r\u00e9solutions temporelles in\u00e9dites en deux sites, \u00e0 des profondeurs diff\u00e9rentes.<\/p>\n<p>Ce projet r\u00e9unit des chercheurs Britanniques, Irlandais et Fran\u00e7ais et s\u2019inscrit dans un effort de recherche national qui vise \u00e0 \u00e9tudier les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes des coraux profonds et \u00e0 utiliser les coraux fossiles comme archives naturelles pour reconstruire \u00e0 haute r\u00e9solution les changements pal\u00e9o-climatiques pass\u00e9s (ANR HAMOC PI C.
