These rapid changes affect surface processes, with consequences for natural hazards that are relatively poorly understood. This is particularly the case with glacial lake outburst floods (GLOFs), which result from the draining of glacial lakes following the breach of a moraine or ice dam.<\/p>\n<\/div>
