Associate Professor for Economic Geology at the Paris Sud University since 1997.
My field of interests are : the understanding of processes and mechanisms of metal concentrations in natural environments as well as during industrial processing. More recently, I focus also on the physico-chemical characteristics of the industrial dusts and its agglomeration for revalorization of metals ((https://eitrawmaterials.eu/project/go-4-0/) ; PhD supervisor of John Lee Dubos, GEOPS-Univ. Paris Sud- ERAMET RESEARCH).
The purpose of my work is to define key parameters (structures, mineralogy, chemistry) to optimize exploration, mining and processing. More recently I coordinate the scientific work on on-line-on-mine-real time expert systems comprising drilling and chemical and mineralogical analyses in the frame of the EU H2020 SOLSA project (www.solsa-mining.eu).
I teach Economic Geology and Geomaterials at Master level ; Mineralogy for BSc students.
